Next, we will take a look at StudyIsland; a GREAT resource for re-enforcing classroom learning!

POWERSCHOOL: Student ID #, Student ID # pw
i.e. (123 456 1234, 123 456 1234pw)

STUDYISLAND: Student ID #, elephant
(you may have to add a 1, 2, or 3 at the end of your ID #)

First off, we all need to have our computers logged into WINDOWS today. The back row nearest the door can work in MAC ONLY.

WINDOWS: -START-ALL PROGRAMS-MICROSOFT OFFICE-MS WORD 2003-

MAC: Mac users will use a program called "Pages". Wait for my assistance to start.

Use the outline you started on Friday, and also use examples from the web.

Let's Brainstorm For Our Resumes!

On paper, let's write down some ideas and topics that we want to put onto our resumes next week.

We will look at examples of different resumes online to get an idea of what to do.

Mac Versus Windows

Some of you may already know that our IMac computers in this lab can run as either a Mac operating system or Windows. I want to take a few moments today to show you how to change from Mac to Windows while you are working on a machine in class.

Then, we all need a pen/pencil and something to write a few notes onto. We are going to do some RESUME brainstorming!

Introduction To Resumes

RESUME: A résumé is a document that contains a summary of relevant job experience and education for specific employment search.

MSBCS: The student will examine educational requirements, job
responsibilities, employment trends, and opportunities within different career pathways.
