Layers are used in image editing to separate different elements of an image. A layer can be compared to a transparancy on which imaging effects or images are applied and placed over or under an image. Today they are an integral feature of image editors.

• Once you have finished, do a lesson of your choice in Study Island

7th Grade

• Look to yesterday's image to see what must be completed
• By Friday, Steps 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 must be completed on Typing Pal
