8th Grade - Final Publisher Project

You should have created a "logo" for your real/fictitious business by now. Over the next few days, we will be using that logo to create a FLYER and BUSINESS CARD that could be used by your business to sell your product or service.

You must save your logo as an image file before it can be used in Microsoft Publisher.

Mac Versus PC

What is a LOGO anyway?

A logo is a graphic mark or emblem commonly used by commercial enterprises, organizations and even individuals to aid and promote instant public recognition. Logos are either purely graphic (symbols/icons) or are composed of the name of the organization (a logotype or wordmark).

8th Grade Catch-Up Day

This past week, we learned how to use Microsoft Publisher to make print publications.
  • Make sure you have these three files saved (Flyer, Business Card, Post Card)
  • Think of a "Logo" that you would like to create starting Monday morning.
  • Think of a real or fictitious business you would like to start
Also, this week you were assigned the entire Algebra section of Study Island.
  • The week following spring break, you will be required to finish that section, and earn a "Blue Ribbon" for each of the Algebra lessons.
